Profile description 

The Logistics Analyst performs activities of planning, coordination, organization and management of logistics processes, within and outside the company, vital to the distribution of goods from the production site to the customer. He/she plans, implements and controls the handling, storage and stock levels of goods in stock through management systems (WMS: Warehouse Management System). The Logistics Analyst establishes relations with mangers in charge of shipments planning, in order to optimize the time of supply and guarantee the greatest services to the clients. He/she additionally supervises specific administrative activities, while managing the related flows of documents.

He/she contributes to the distribution network coordination, organizes the logistics movement of goods and manages information flows using advanced software systems. The technician operates both in production, industrial and commercial businesses, as well as in transport companies or logistic services. It is a transversal function to all production sectors. In terms of employment (or employability), this specialized professional profile fits comfortably in the labor market, seizing the opportunities available in companies within the production, distribution and transport spheres and operating in diverse economic sectors, both at the national and international level.
