Internationalisation strategy and international mobility policy represent a fundamental part of ITS institutional vision in order to reinforce its EU dimension and activities. ITS has been implementing several project activities in order to consolidate its cross-border network, by signing partnerships with important institutions and key players in the field and by offering its students placement opportunities, training and relations as added values for their future careers.
Among ITS best practices, ITS is Lead Partner of the project “PORTS – Partnership for the Observation and Study of New Routes and Transnational Sea-highways”, funded in 2017 under the “INTERREG IPA CBC Italy Albania Montenegro Program”.
Through PORTS, ITS intends to widen its international network, to provide new opportunities to its students and members part of the Foundation and to play a role in the Adriatic-Ionian cross-border cooperation scenario in the field of logistics and maritime transport.
